World Tour 2007
Over 203 visitors have come to the mammal center this summer to learn more about marine mammals in Southeast Alaska, and we expect to see many more. The center’s map entitled “Where in the world are you from?” is quickly filling with pins that currently represent thirty-nine states and fourteen countries. Australia has the lead for most visitors from another country, with California coming on top for the U.S.A. Many other countries are represented by our visitors including New Zealand, Italy, Scotland, Germany, France, and one visitor from Peru. We hope to have representati ves from the remaining 11 states before the end of the 2007 season. |
