Jim Nahmens, wildlife photographer
and PMMC advisory board member, will discuss the PMMC's
involvement in the SPLASH humpback whale survey as well
as
show some of his latest marine mammal photography.
Friday, August 25, 2006 - Fred Sharpe
The Petersburg Summer Science Series continues with a lecture by researcher Dr. Fred Sharpe. Come hear this engaging speaker discuss his research among the humpbacks of Frederick Sound.
Fred will speak at the Petersburg Marine Mammal Center on Friday, August 25 at 7:00 p.m. The PMMC is located in the Viking Travel Center conference room, which is on Gjoa opposite Sing Lee Alley.
