Membership and/or participation in the Petersburg Marine Mammal Center is inclusive.
Individuals and organizations interested in the study and appreciation of marine Mammals,
particularly whales, may enjoy membership. We encourage intellectual and financial
support.
Our philosophy suggest several ways of getting involved in the
PMMC:
members can find a comfortable level of
financial commitment, from $10.00 for seniors and students to
dollar-a-day level for benefactors. We also look for corporate
sponsorships. More information here
Members are encouraged to become involved
with the Center to the level of your interests,
skills, time and energy. There are many ways to be involved as a volunteer at the center.
The PMMC internship programs allows students the chance to intern at the center. Interns develop and run educational programs, aid in research efforts and staff the center during the summer.
