The PMMC is a nonprofit organization that has been functioning primarily on volunteers as its workforce. Members are encouraged to become involved with the Center to the level of your interests, skills, time and energy. Some ways of participating are:

• Meet and greet visitors to the Center
• Help with fundraising and grant searches
• Help with event planning and preparation
• Membership development
• Display acquisition and presentation
• Education program development
• special projects
• support of researchers
• Intern program support - housing, travel, entertainment
